Detriot Dog rescue group needs help after theft

A helping hand: Home Fur-Ever, a local dog rescue group hit by a thief earlier this week, is accepting donations of cash or animal equipment. On Tuesday, someone stole the group’s van and trailer, containing an estimated $6,000 worth of gear. Donations can be mailed to Home Fur-Ever, P.O. 10203, Detroit 48210, or dropped off in person from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Petco, 1217 Coolidge, Troy. Go to www.homefurever.com.
