Rosemary Farm has many horses and available and needs room to save more horses from auction!  Their horses are healthy and happy; some are re-trained for riding and some still need work, but hey, who doesn’t? They’ve done the vetting and mental re-hab, so you can take over and love your new horse. Let them know what you are looking for!

Belle is a gorgeous and sweet Welsh/QH cross mare that we saved from slaughter a few months ago. Belle is 14 and lived her whole life with one family before being sent to auction. Scared and alone, she put on quite a show that drove off buyers, but we saw her ears perk up at a little girl, and her eyes follow her, and knew that this used to be a loved horse. Turns out Belle was trained to ride and drive when she was young, but then was left out at pasture for 9 years, so she doesn’t have the physical wear of some teenage horses. Beautiful extended trot on this girl, good head, willing learner, super nice horse. Belle is currently being re-trained to ride; come and meet her!
