Source: K9 Magazine, October 11, 2009

Anti puppy farm campaigners in the US were shot at following a protest outside a pet store known to sell puppy farmed (puppy mill) dogs. Campaigners are offering a significant reward for information that leads to the capture of the gun man.
Campaigner Carole Davies said: “We had a peaceful protest in front of Aquarium & Pet Center, a store that sells puppy mill dogs, in Santa Monica.”
And then shots were fired at us. Police came (4 squad cars) and found the bullets, 2 millimeter brass bullets. 3 animal welfare activists were hit, including me, no serious injuries. Police confirmed this is assault with a deadly weapon, a felony.
We are offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the criminal who shot at animal welfare protesters on Saturday in Santa Monica.
